MIRACLES ARE HAPPENING!!!

Hey Hey Hey!!!

It was great to hear from everyone...I seriously appreciate the emails soooo much! THANK YOU! Hope it was a fantastic week for ya!

My week was so good....so good so so so good!! It was sunny and gorgeous and we got to do a lot of service which was fun! I also went on STL exchanges to Crossroads again. I SURVIVED :) We didn't witness anything too sketchy this time...prayers are real. I seriously love going to Crossroads! Sister Perkins let me take her pepper spray this time so that was comforting:) There are some wonderful people there! I love getting to know them!

Downtown INDY!!! One of the perks of going to Crossroads

My Companion for a day...cute Sister Simmons! Exchanges are so fun!

I* made HUGE progress this week...we are talking miracles here! I'm just so amazed at how much growth can happen when you truly are lead by God. I* has done everything we have asked her to, plus more, and the growth has been huge. Just a big testimony builder that the commandments are here to help us grow. It reminds me of Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." I know that even though we may feel inadequate or small, we can do all things with Christ. I* is such an example to me. She came to us this week just glowing. She said "I'm ready! I'm ready and I want to be baptized!!" EEEEEPPPPAHHHHHHHHHH We were wondering if her first baptismal date, March 26th, was too soon, but after meeting with her this week, it’s so evident that she has been prepared and that she is so ready! So basically this Saturday will be the best day ever! I'm just amazed at what Heavenly Father has accomplished in this situation. So neat!

I just know that true happiness comes from the Gospel. I'm so grateful for this Church and for our Savior Jesus Christ. I know that if we are diligent in keeping ALL of God's commandments, we will see miracles in our lives. It goes back to the basics, diligent prayers all day everyday and searching the scriptures as well. I just love it:) These are all things that have been strengthened in my testimony since I've been out. Isn't the Gospel amazing? Missions are too cool!

I also get to work in the Temple this week....couldn't be more excited. The Temple is such an amazing place!

HAPPY EASTER THIS WEEK!

TWO MONTHS

Howdy folks!

TWO MONTHS PEOPLE...TWO MONTHS!!!! I can't believe it.
S. Hamilton, S. Reed, Me, S. Ostermiller (MTC Buddies)

Guess what guess what....yesterday was my TWO MONTH MARK!!! Insane!!! I sure love my mission...I'm so grateful for all that I have learned and how much Heavenly Father has provided for me so far. It's truly amaaaaaazing.

Thanks for all the emails! I love hearing about you all!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY CUTE BROTHER THIS WEEK! Big 17....time flies...love you Eric!

This week was toooo amazing. I'm so amazed at all the blessings, miracles and tender mercies that were provided for us this week. The work really took off and we are seeing a lot of progress in our area. YAY! I can take noooo credit...we have been so guided by the spirit.

Miss “I”...this lady is just so amazing! I love watching her progress...it's been so fun and soooo humbling to be able to work with her. I truly know that it has NOT been us teaching her. She is totally in God's hands. AMAZING! We met with her twice this week...on Wednesday we went over the Restoration and talked about how we have a living prophet on the earth today. She was so excited to hear that! It made me realize how important it is to know what the prophet is teaching us so that we can spread his teachings to others. The spirit is always so strong in the lessons with "I"...it's pretty amazing. On Sunday, at church "I" told us how she was really struggling to know if the scriptures were true. Guess what every single lesson was on at church. SCRIPTURES....and receiving help from on high. We also talked about faith and putting our trust in God. The lessons even went over Joseph Smith too, which I thought that was awesome for "I" to hear again. "I" really recognized that those lessons were inspired and they were specifically for her and she told us how she is going to dedicate 30 minutes every day to study her scriptures and pray before and after. (What investigator comes up with their OWN commitments...haha) We had another lesson with her after church and it was so powerful. She said the closing prayer and guess what happened....AGAIN....the prayer got quiet as she cried and "I" couldn't hold back how much she felt the spirit. I'm so grateful that Heavenly Father is soooo aware of her. Huge testimony builder this day...the church is sooooo true:)

“L” is also doing WONDERFUL....every time we go over, we can really tell a difference in her. Her testimony is growing and I'm so proud of her for not giving up-even when it was so hard. We are helping her to come back to the Temple soon. So excited!!!!!

Tracting Moment of the Week: We knocked on this one door and a reeeallly old man opened it. We introduced ourselves and asked what his name was, as he talked, something fell out of his mouth onto the floor....I looked down and guess what it was....HIS TOOTH! NOT EVEN JOKING...his tooth just popped right out...best part of the story....he didn't even notice!! haha It was pretty hard to keep it together...but he slammed the door after we started teaching so then we had a good laugh. Never a dull moment...I promise!!

STOP....I found my road!!!
Guess what else we found....
A MOUNTAIN!!!! That's as high as they grow in INDY!!!

Hope you all have a fantastic week. This week my testimony really grew on the scriptures. They are soooo amazing and totally inspired. I've been studying 3 Nephi and I'm amazed. If we make time for the scriptures every day and truly study from them...we WILL notice a huge change in our lives. I love it!

LOVE YOU

TRIO'S, TRAINING, & TENDER MERCIES

Howdy Folks!!

Welcome to the selfie club Sister Hamilton!

What a great week! It was so fun to hear from you! Thanks again for all the support...it means the WORLD.

Ok this week was craaaaaazyyy! It started bright and early Tuesday morning...4:45a to see Sister Holt leave. It was so sad...we love our Sister Holt. But our trio this week was way too fun! Covering both our area and their area was insane! I loved being able to see more of Indy though...it's beautiful!

Goodbye S. Holt!!!
For S. Holt...because she has a thing for elephants....We LOVE You!!!!

We also had specialized training this week which I loved. It was also really fun to be in a trio for it. Between District Meeting, Specialized training, and being in a trio....I think my mind is going to explode from everything I've learned this week. haha I love it. It was also really cool to see everyone I came out with from the MTC. T'was a great day!

Specialized Training

But the day didn't end there...remember the cute lady from last week who came with her friend and went to Gospel Essentials class and committed to pray, "I"…The one who basically set up her own return appointment? Well we had our lesson with her this week and holy moly batman....Church is True. We were talking about prayer and the feelings of the spirit. She kept saying how much she wants to really know that God is there and wants to feel the spirit. Sister Hamilton was awesome...she said that if we exercised the faith right then and knelt down and prayed...God would answer her. So you best believe we knelt down right there and asked God. She said the prayer and when it became quiet during the middle of her prayer I looked up at her and she was crying and her hand was on her heart. Her prayer changed and she started thanking Heavenly Father for letting her know He was there. We were all in tears...it was such a tender moment. The spirit was CRAZY strong. We told her about how she could have this feeling with her all the time through baptism....Sooooo she is now ON DATE! AH I’m so excited for her! She is so excited to learn and grow. We said a bajillion thank you prayers after her lesson was done! :)

Then “L” the sweet recent convert who has been struggling progressed so much this week! We asked our Stake Mission leader to come with us to her next lesson so he did. We weren't able to talk to him about our lesson plans very much before, but he ended up sharing the ssaaammmeee exact things we had planned. It was truly amazing. His testimony added so much. He wasn't afraid to confront her about reading anti, and it resolved a lot. He shared some personal experiences that she could really relate too and she was also in tears. It was an amazing moment...I think she really felt the spirit. She's baaaaaack!! Slowly but surely...she's getting better!! She shared her testimony and we are really proud of her for not giving up. Doubt your doubt before you doubt your faith right?

Tracting Moment of the Week: There is a term here in Indiana..."Hooziering"....defined as: when someone rambles on and on and on and on and on and on about who knows what for who knows how long....it's wonderful. It happened a few times this week! hahaha We love Indiana People.

I think that's about it for the week! Just a ton of tender mercies and miracles....everyday. It's truly amazing. This week was a huge testimony builder of prayer. I'm so grateful for my Heavenly Father...I KNOW He answers our prayers! President Cleveland invited us to give one prayer a day out loud...it's crazy what a difference it makes.

Alma 37:37 "Counsel with the Lord in all thy doings, and he will direct thee for good."

HAVE A GREAT WEEK
Heavenly Father is there and He loves YOU!
